كتاب مفيد لطيف متوسط الحجم، الشيخ الندوي قال في مقدمته buku sirah أن الكتاب لطلاب أو سن الثانوية، وأنا أرى أنه الآن ينفع سن الجامعة لاختلاف الثقافة ودرجة المعرفة للأجيال، الكتاب سلس وبسيط لغةً ومحتوى، الخرائط مفيدة وبتساعد علي التصور.
إذن أميل للقول أن كتاب الرحيق المختوم كتاب تاريخي أكثر من كونه كتاب سيرة؛ لأنّه ينص الوقائع التاريخيّة من تاريخ العرب قبل مولد النبي محمد عليه الصلاة والسلام حتى وفاته، معتمداً على النص السردي المتواصل، وهذا أفقده نوعا ما الحميميّة والدفء.
- القسم الأكبر من الكتاب تناول الغزوات والسرايا ومراحل توطيد الدولة الإسلامية ، وكأنه كتاب تاريخ لتوثيق الأحداث وليس كتاب نايع عن حب وشوق لخير خلق الله
Menceritakan tentang ciri-ciri Rasulullah shallalahu 'alaihi wa sallam, kemuliaan akhlaq beliau dan mukjizat-mukjizat yang diberikan Allah kepada beliau sebagai bukti kebenaran risahnya. Menceritakan tentang sepuluh sahabat yang telah dijamin masuk surga disertai penjelasan tentang nasab dan keluarga mereka.

انبهرت من أوّل مولده عليه السلام.. إلى طلائع وداعه سلام الله عليه.. مرورًا بالمواقف كلها .. صغيرها و جلّها ..
لكني هنا اكتب ريفيو لكتاب من تأليف كاتب يجمع فيه كل ما يخص سيرة الرسول عليه الصلاة والسلام

Pretty good biography and it went in fantastic depth. I like the way it showed maps and cross-referenced other books. I'd hardly ever read about his daily life just before and I'm happy I did.
إعادة قراءة لهذا الكتاب النافع، وهو من أفضل مختصرات السيرة النبوية. لكن يعاب عليه تغليب جانب الغزوات والسرايا على بقية جوانب السيرة المحمدية الطاهرة.
